Area Manager - Sales - Pump (12-15 yrs)
Job Title Area Sales Manager (East)
Unit / Department Sales / 112 Team Size 3 to 5
Reporting Manager Vice President - Sales (North & East) Travel Required 12 - 15 days in a month
Job Purpose :
- Responsible for the performance of a department or a team through task guidance, direction setting and motivation of the workforce.
- To ensure Company's growth as envisaged with an all round customer satisfaction
Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities :
- Develop plans to maintain an efficient, productive and harmonious work environment.
- Select, lead, guide, evaluate and develop employees to ensure that the department achieves the business objectives.
- Select the right people and keep them trained and motivated to add value for Grundfos- customers. Secure the right mix of talent.
- Ensure overall Business wise and Product Wise
- Appointment of New Dealers
- Appointment of New OEM- s
- To be within the norms of credit control policy and contribution with reference to budget
Critical knowledge and experience :
Industry, market and business environment
- Experience leading processes preferably within similar commercial area.
- Experience working on a team developing and/or leading strategies within a business environment.
- Experience leading a team and/or a business process within similar commercial area.
- Most likely to have 5-6 years of relevant work experience before entering level.
Technical, functional and professional
- Strong ability to lead and/or influence others.
- Strong knowledge of best practices and systems within relevant area
Top 5 requirements
- Full time Graduate Engineer from a reasonable reputed engineering college.
- Working experience of average 15 years - out of that last minimum 5 years with a Pump Company like Wilo, KSB, Xylem, Armstrong, and Kirloskar in sales / BD.
- Existing relationships with decision makers and influencers in Commercial Building Segment, WU and Industry Segment in Region East.
- Managing a distributor network and a sales of about 50 Crores.
- Strong background in MIS and reporting systems - communications and cultural fit
for a global company.
