Area Manager - Sales - Private Banking (7-10 yrs)
JOB DESCRIPTION :
Position title : Area Manager-Banking
Purpose of the Job :
- The reporting would depend upon the area of work and grade.
- The position is responsible for prospecting, selling & managing business leaders in large national and multinational organizations in assigned region.
Key responsibilities :
- Ensure effective and smooth relationship with assigned banks in the region for growth in business.
- Responsible for prospecting, selling & managing RMs / Sales people in banks in the region, who are also into mutual funds.
- Influence decision making at senior levels to get mind share from the banks.
- Developing business through consultative engagement with Branch managers / Senior RMs / Regional Heads etc.
- Mapping the opportunity for primary selling, relationship managing & cross selling a range of M.F (investment) Products
Behavioral Competencies :
Good communicational abilities and pleasing personality.
Role Specific Competencies :
- Exposure to M.F industry will be added advantage.
- Product knowledge.
- Market knowledge / extensively networked.
- Key account management skills.
- Should have an eye for detail.
- Should be ready to expand job portfolio horizontally.
Formal Qualifications / Prior Work Exp :
- MBA with minimum 7-10 years of work experience.
- AMFI certification compulsory.
