Job Title : Resident representative ( Chennai Region)

Post : ASM Department : Marketing

Reporting to (HOD) Name/Title : GM- Mktg. HO

Salary : 35K- 45K (+INCENTIVE)

Academic Qualification : B.E/Diploma- MECH / PRODN / INDUSTRIAL/MBA- Marketing

LOCATION : Mumbai


Age : 28-33 years

Work Experience : 8-10 YEARS

Job Description :

1. RM will be responsible for achieving sales targets of defined regions / customers.

2. RM will be the face of the company for the assigned region/customers & will be one point contact. All communication will be thru RM.

3. RM will work for increasing the share of business amongst existing customers and also for identifying new customers and bringing business from them.

4. Enquiry generation -> quotation submission - > order finalization -> coordination with works execution of order -> payments collection-> post sales service related to complaints -> feedback collection from customer . These all will be part of his responsibility.

5. Back-office functions: Enquiry registration/costing/ submission of offers/issuance of sale order etc will be part of functioning on day to day basis.

6. RM will help in brand-building exercises by helping in organizing technical webinars, sharing the company's technical developments with customers, providing timely feedback about order acceptances/ delays/dispatches /complaint status, etc. Continuous customer engagement and liaison will be a very important part of his activity

7. Travel In areas outside Mumbai will be 10-15 days a month.

8. Performance appraisal of candidate will be done by head office.

Important Criteria /Skill :

1. 8-10 years experience in industrial marketing (b2c- preferably direct sales ), & that too working in company and not a dealer/distributor level.


2. Good communication skills. Good written english. Average spoken English.


3. Should be comfortable with modern-day online tools for connectivity/networking/communicating with customers and h.o.


4. Candidate having exposure of industrial Marketing of technical items/ spares & consumables /machinery & equipment / in steel plants or tube plants will be added advantage.
