Area Manager - Sales - Equity Broking House (5-7 yrs)
5 to 7 years of sales experience in Equity Broking House out of which last 3 years should be as Area Manager or equivalent
Business Related Responsibilities:
- Customer Acquisition & Retention
- Targeting HNI and Corporate clients for the branch
- Marketing & Business Development activities by organizing stalls in malls, corporate presentations,
- Campus presentations, LMS etc.
- Morning meetings and discussions with staff
- Review of Performance based on various parameters i.e. Monthly review - Revenue per employee,
- Weekly review-volumes, brokerage, client registrations, etc. (Product wise)
- Competitors information gathering
- Organizing regular Investor meets to increase client base and maintaining relationship.
- Regular follow up and updation of Lead Management System.
- Compliance management (refer to the Guidelines for Compliance Management )
Operations Related Responsibilities :
- Monitoring activities like payin/payouts/customer grievance on daily basis.
- Manage Risk by regular monitoring of clients positions, training dealers to avoid trade errors and timely
- Collection from debtors.
- Ensure quick process of the applications for account opening by avoiding rejections. Checking and
- Verification of Off market/Closing cum transfer request.
- Opening procedure) Follow up with HO departments on rejections / Updations of client documents.
HR Related Responsibilities :
- Maintaining discipline in the Branch and adhering to HR Policies. (Ref. Employee manual)
- Welcoming and training the new staffs
- Communicating to employees important matters concerning the Company and its Policies
- Ensure upkeep of all statutory documents and registers. ( Ref. Branch Operation Manual - Files and
- registers to be kept at the branches)
- Training programmes for staff (Product related/ Communication Skills/Day-to-day Operations/ market overview/ latest updates/company research reports/important circulars, Risk Management &
- Compliance)
- Team motivation and grievance
