Area Manager - Sales - Edtech (5-10 yrs)
We are urgently hiring for an experienced Area Manager to join our dynamic team in Delhi. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in franchise sales and a deep understanding of the ed-tech industry.
Key Responsibilities:
Franchise Development :
- Identify and acquire potential franchise partners to expand the company's footprint.
- Conduct market research to understand the competitive landscape and identify new opportunities for franchise growth.
Sales Management :
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve and exceed targets.
- Manage the entire sales cycle from lead generation to closing deals and post-sales support.
Relationship Building :
- Build and maintain strong relationships with franchise partners to ensure their success and satisfaction.
- Provide ongoing support and training to franchise partners to ensure they meet the company's standards and objectives.
Performance Monitoring :
- Monitor and analyze sales metrics to measure performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Prepare and present regular reports on sales performance and market trends to senior management.
Market Expansion :
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and implement marketing strategies to drive franchise sales.
- Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities to promote the brand.
Key Skills and Qualifications :
Experience :
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in franchise sales, preferably in the ed-tech industry.
Sales Expertise :
- Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
- Strong negotiation, presentation, and closing skills.
Relationship Management :
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to build and maintain long-term relationships with franchise partners and stakeholders.
Analytical Skills :
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to analyze sales data and market trends to make informed business decisions.
Education :
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. An MBA is preferred.
Personal Attributes :
- Highly motivated and results-oriented.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to travel as required.
