Area Manager - Retail Business Development - PSU Banking (9-12 yrs)
JOB DESCRIPTION :
Position title : Area Manager - RBD (Retail Business Development
Purpose of the Job :
Responsible for ongoing relationship management with PSU Banks in Rest of Maharashtra Region. Liaise with DGMs, GMs of public sector banks for prospective tie ups and relationships.
Key responsibilities :
- Ensure effective and smooth relationship with assigned PSU banks in the region for growth in business.
- Responsible for prospecting, selling & managing RMs / sales people in Public sector banks in the region, which are also into mutual funds.
- Building up strategy for pushing third party distribution in public sector banks. Influence decision making at senior levels to get mind share from the PSU banks. Developing business through consultative engagement with Branch Managers / Senior RMs / Regional Heads etc.
- Responsible for tie ups and circular for conducting business in public sector banks Mapping the opportunity for primary selling, relationship managing & cross selling a range of M.F (investment) Products.
Behavioral Competencies :
- Good communication skills and pleasing personality
- Should be able to convince and liaise easily
Role Specific Competencies :
- Exposure to M.F industry will be added advantage. Market knowledge / extensively networked.
- Key account management skills.
- Should be ready to expand job portfolio horizontally.
- Candidates handling Bancassurance channel would be at an advantage
Formal Qualifications / Prior Work Exp :
- MBA with minimum 7-9 years of work experience. NISM certification compulsory.
