Area Manager - Channel Business - BFSI (3-9 yrs)
We are currently hiring for our client Tamohara Investment Managers Private Limited.
Designation: Area Manager - Channel Business.
Job Location : Delhi/Mumbai/Kolkata
Job Overview:
This positions looks at a person handling the Channel business for region. The job is primarily handling, developing & nurturing all channel partner relationships to garner higher market share of business. Also, the candidate must have good knowledge of equities along with other soft skills.
Major Responsibilities and Duties:
- To maximize the sales in the assigned region
- To handle & nurture all channel partner relationships
- Responsible for achieving Sales Targets by managing select set of relationships including Private Banks, NDs and IFAs & mid - sized corporates in the assigned region
- Developing business through consultative engagement with Branch Managers / Senior RMs and other important position in the respective organizations
- Influence decision making at senior levels of prospective business organizations
- To onboard & develop new channel partners
- Regularly update, assist & motivate the channel partners
- Improvise & implement any business development activities in the assigned region
- Work as a coordinator between the operations/client servicing and Clients/channel partners
Candidate Profile
- Should have an eye for detail
- Good communicational abilities and pleasing personality
- Product knowledge
- Market knowledge / extensively networked
- Exposure to PMS industry will be added advantage
Requisite Competencies
- Problem Solving, Self-motivated, Good Interpersonal & Persuasive skills, sound knowledge of numbers
- Maintaining & Communicating Brokerage Structures on a monthly/quarterly basis or as and when needed.
- Coordinating Channel Agreements between internal stake holders like Compliance, RTA, Operations & the Distributors touch points.
- Sending out NFO Communication incl Pricing, Presentations, Forms etc
- Coordinating NFO Pricing with our central brokerage team
Tracking Sales Trends both internal & external
- Churning out Mutual Fund Reports across period across various filters
- Liasoning with Fund Management Team to set up conference calls for T 30 accounts
- Assisting in timely co-ordination & obtaining GST Invoices between Sundaram back office & distributor
- Assisting Distributor requirements like Brokerage related issues/Report requirements/Invoices/Debit Notes etc
- Internal follow ups for pending queries / debit note payouts / GST invoice related work
- Sending out monthly portfolios & factsheets to distributors
- Maintaining a database of distributors
- Sending out communications like Addendums etc
