Job Description of an Area Sales Manager/Asst Manager - Key Account Management
Area Sales Manager : With an experience of 5+ Years in the Garment / Textile Industry or other related Industry.
Desired Competencies :
- Leadership skills, Communication skills, Basic IT skills, Objective Orientation, Business Development, Commercial Acumen, Negotiation skills etc.
- To achieve target set by the organization - Sales & Collections and to go ahead and carry out their daily sales agenda to meet the sales target.
- Bridging the gap between the Customer and Organisation.
- Educating the customer on the do's and dont's - i.e product knowledge.
- Providing samples on time for developments.
- Help Sales Manager to come up with ideas to increase the sales.
- He will look into discrepancies that has observed & notify it to the SM to come up with a solution.
- He may train the new sales recruits to develop their skills as well grow with the company. Reward the achievements of the commendable performers through positive reinforcement.
- Make it a point to update the strategies and suggest ways to reduce the monotony at work.
- Attending/Handling customers complaints and forwarding the same to production team for improvements/ replacements, etc.
- Coordinate with SM & Production team for better leadtime/product development/pricing etc.,
- Reconcile accounts of customers wherever required.
- Collection of statutory forms - C forms, Eway bills etc.
- Maintaining data of Sales, Collections, Sample submission and follow for order confirmations.
- Discussing with concerned teams for nominations, developments, approvals etc.,
- Facilitate Organisation & customers for smooth running of business.
- Budget planning, Customer mapping, Market trend info etc., to be forwarded to Management.
- Competition analysis on pricing, products, leadtimes etc.,
- Maintaining good rapport with customers to convert orders .
- Effectively manage the sales in the interest of the organization.
- To update customers/Management in regarding to the new developments in the industry.
