Job Profile:
As the Area Franchise Support Manager - you are the field liaison between Franchisor Head office and the domestic individual Franchisees in relation to Products/Services within our Franchise stores. This position is primarily responsible for the support of the post-opening operations of Franchisee's within the territory and is in place to maximize the business and efficiency of Brands Franchisee. As AFSM, you will offer support to the independent Franchise owners to ensure excellence in the delivery of the Franchisor's Business within your region and to assist in promoting the Franchisee Stores to promote its business growth. The AFSM will be expected to regularly review and train the Franchisee staff on new and existing aspects of our Products/Services.
Essential Job Functions:
- Minimum 5+ years of experience required.
- Communicating with franchisees via telephone, email and face-to-face, to effectively detail franchise brand policies and procedure (ensuring knowledge and stressing the need for 100% adherence).
- Practice regular independent, discretionary judgement in order to ensure Franchisors strict guidelines are being followed.
- Develop and maintain relationships with existing/new franchisees for strong collaboration and business leadership.
- Provide exceptional customer service through asking pertinent questions and understanding customers- needs.
- Travel to support new/existing Franchisees in all facets of the Franchisors system as it relates to our branded products.
- Attend conference calls/webinars and events to promote the Franchisor brand and develop enhanced and improved business results.
- Provide leadership in the development of franchise growth within the territory, as well as approved third party affiliations and partnerships.
- Understand and be able to continuously analyze the stores/territory's Business Intelligence metrics (KPI- s) to uncover trends and poor performance symptoms and provide intelligent, effective and timely solutions for market and store growth.
- Support and, if required, mediate disputes with franchisees to achieve desired outcomes with minimal brand impact.
- Work closely with the Regional Sales and Operations Teams and Other Departments to maintain high utilization in the region and increase the customer base at all stores.
- Must submit monthly schedule and weekly reports to direct supervisor.
- Must visit each Franchisee within the region at least once per week.
- Assist with stores compliance audits as needed. This includes assisting and auditing entire stores operations in addition to the Senior team evaluations.
- May be required to attend events hosted in region.
