Area Executive - General Trade - FMCG (2-4 yrs)

We are urgently looking for an experienced and dynamic Area Executive (General Trade) to join our team in Telangana. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in FMCG sales, with a specific focus on General Trade and Channel Sales. This role is pivotal in driving sales growth, expanding market presence, and building strong relationships with trade partners.

Key Responsibilities :

Sales and Business Development :

- Achieve sales targets and objectives within the assigned territory.

- Develop and implement sales strategies to increase market share and profitability.

- Identify and capitalize on new business opportunities in the General Trade segment.

Channel Management :

- Manage relationships with distributors, wholesalers, and retailers.

- Ensure effective distribution and availability of products in the market.

- Monitor and analyze sales performance, providing recommendations for improvement.

Market Analysis :

- Conduct market research to understand customer needs, preferences, and trends.

-Track competitor activities and develop strategies to counteract their impact.

- Provide regular reports and insights on market conditions and sales performance.

Promotions and Campaigns :

- Plan and execute promotional activities and trade marketing campaigns.

- Collaborate with marketing teams to develop and implement effective promotional materials and strategies.

- Monitor the effectiveness of promotional activities and adjust strategies as needed.

Customer Relationship Management:

- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and trade partners.

- Address customer queries, concerns, and feedback promptly and effectively.

- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and loyalty.

Team Collaboration:

- Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to align strategies and achieve common goals.

- Provide training and support to sales staff and trade partners as needed.

Qualifications and Skills:

- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.

- Minimum of 2 years of experience in General Trade and Channel Sales, preferably in the FMCG industry.

- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.

- Strong understanding of the FMCG market and distribution channels.

- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to analyze market trends and data to make informed decisions.

- Proficiency in MS Office and sales software/tools.

- Willingness to travel within the assigned territory.
