Area Business Manager - Sales (3-6 yrs)
Job Purpose :
To drive regional sales targets for reputed Retail company (On role), ensuring smooth operation of company-owned and franchisee stores, while enhancing customer satisfaction and operational excellence.
Key Interfaces :
- External: Customers, Third-party Service Providers, Franchise Partners.
- Internal: Regional, Product, Brand, IRSG, VM, Merchandising, Support, and BD teams.
Education and Experience Requirements :
- Education: Graduate/Postgraduate (MBA preferred).
- Experience: 3-6 years in sales/retail;
Core Responsibilities :
- Sales Management:
- Planning: Contribute to annual business targets and manpower optimization strategies.
- Evaluation: Monitor financial and operational performance of stores, suggest corrective measures.
- Expansion: Conduct feasibility studies, plan network expansion, propose ROI for new stores.
Retail Marketing :
- Develop and approve marketing plans, promotions, and budgets.
- Drive VM updates, regional schemes, and in-store activities for better ROI.
Franchisee & Store Management :
- Act as a Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for franchise partners.
- Ensure smooth store operations and compliance with internal policies.
Training & Development :
- Coordinate product training and conduct training needs analysis for staff.
- Plan and execute training programs to drive efficiency and sales performance.
Recruitment & Talent Management :
- Support recruitment for key positions and drive engagement and diversity in teams.
- Mentor, develop, and ensure succession planning for critical roles.
Customer Experience & Complaint Resolution :
- Implement mechanisms for quick resolution of critical complaints.
- Capture feedback to improve customer satisfaction and store ratings.
- Performance Indicators
- Achievement of sales targets and ROI.
- Increase in customer satisfaction and franchisee satisfaction scores.
- Effective implementation of expansion plans and regional schemes.
