Job description
Aqualite is India's leading for School Shoes and we are on the lookout for a stellar candidate to join our core Leadership team with a focus on Sales, Business Development and Operations. We aspire to build India's largest Marketplace for School Shoes for children and parents. Aqualite looks to build and create a first of its kind national distribution channel for school supplies (B2B and B2C).
The key responsibilities as a part of the role will include:
- B2C sales involving clients such as Distributors, School Supplies Sellers, Vendors and Brands
- Relationship building with Sellers, Brands, Schools and other entities such as non-profit organizations, other ed-tech companies and more.
- Develop internal, external leads, arrange meetings, presentations and provide progress reports on regular basis. Develop, manage and guide Sales activities for the organizations. (Extensive local travel will be required).
- Identify and utilize effective promotional and marketing efforts to include research, telephone prospecting cold calling, referral incentives, and networking.
- Assist in the design and execution of the Sales Plan and Strategy. Undertake Offline and Online Sales to meet Sales Targets.
Qualifications & Requirements
- 1 to 2 years of outside sales experience, preferably selling to the School/College/University Market, or minimum 2-4 years industry experience in Sales, Business Development and Operations.
- Ability to quickly connect with others and demonstrating exceptional customer service and presentation skills.
- Ability to self-direct and work independently.
- Microsoft Excel/Office, Spreadsheets, Data Analytics, CRMs etc.
- Excellent negotiation and persuasion skills. Passion to deliver a positive customer experience; Ability to maintain composure in difficult situations
- Must be able to build strong client relationships and professionally manage internal and external stakeholders, with an ability to priorities time, ability to push-back and a sense of urgency.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to priorities in order to meet daily, weekly, and long-term requirements and goals.
What To Expect :
The position is based out of Delhi/NCR, Mumbai, Dehradun.
Salary Range: Market Standard Salary + Incentives
