We are looking for word nerds and with a passion for storytelling. The Sub Editor will play a central role in the editorial and publishing success of our digital output. You should be able to stay ahead of the social media curve, discover interesting content, suggest ideas for stories, craft creative articles, follow viral content and repackage it in a smarter, shareable way.
Skills required:
- Exceptional flair for writing engaging content
- Excellent command over English language and an absolute grammar nazi
- Should be able to ideate, discover and create content around various different lifestyle topics within the given period of time
- A knack for editing, copy editing and proof reading with light fact checking skills.
-Should be able to generate catchy headlines ideas in alignment with targeted audience's preferences
- Well versed with current affairs, global lifestyle trends, and news.
-Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
- Lead a team of 2-4 content writers
- Familiarity of SEO and social media best practices
