Appsian - Business Development Role (3-6 yrs)
Business development Representative :
- Responsible for maximizing new business opportunities through establishing, developing relationships with potential customers.
- Essential duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Your role will be to seek out revenue opportunities by contacting, following up with, and developing relationships with potential customers.
- This will require working with the lead generation/Prospecting team including meeting quotas. Some prior experience is preferred
- Have some understanding of Sales and Prospecting strategies, such as Sandler Sales, Challenger Sales, etc.
- You will be responsible for developing a geographic region of the US, in meeting and exceeding Lead Generation quotas.
- Creativity towards Prospecting your territory is appreciated here, and all ideas for improvement are welcome.
- Able to think quickly, be prepared to talk to a wide variety of people on the phone
- This will be a full time position with advancement potential.
- Being a team player is essential, as is being accountable for your own effort and job performance.
Desired Skills and Experience :
- Excellent communication skills. (Prior experience of speaking to International prospects will be an advantage)
- Highly motivated, an opportunity mapper. Should be Flexible, Cheerful and Good Team Player
- Able to understand and articulate with strong business acumen
- Great listener and quick thinker with an inquisitive nature.
- Very strong interpersonal skills to understand the opportunity, and the needs of prospects
Qualifications :
- 3 - 5 years prior BD/sales experience (within a Software/High Tech company is a plus)
- Hard working and willing to achieve while maintaining a positive and energetic persona.
- Tenacity to handle rejection and continue on with a positive attitude when reaching next potential client
