Appentus - Lead Generation Specialist (2-3 yrs)
Job Overview :
As a Lead Generation Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in identifying and qualifying potential business opportunities for the company. The ideal candidate will not only focus on generating leads but will also possess knowledge of pre-sales and post-sales processes to ensure a seamless transition throughout the sales funnel. You will work closely with the sales and marketing teams to nurture leads and support customer satisfaction throughout the lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities :
Lead Generation :
- Research, identify, and generate new business leads through multiple channels (cold calling, emails, social media, etc.).
- Conduct market research to identify potential clients and target industries.
- Use CRM and other tools to track leads and prospects.
- Qualify leads by understanding their needs, challenges, and opportunities.
- Develop tailored outreach strategies to connect with decision-makers.
Pre-Sales Process :
- Assist the sales team in gathering client requirements and preparing proposals.
- Collaborate with the sales team to understand product/service offerings.
- Conduct product/service presentations and answer initial queries from potential clients.
- Work closely with the marketing team to create content that attracts high-quality leads.
Post-Sales Process :
- Ensure a smooth handover of the lead to the post-sales team once a sale is completed.
- Follow up with clients after the sale to ensure their satisfaction and address any issues.
- Work closely with customer support teams to ensure the timely resolution of customer inquiries.
- Gather feedback from clients to improve the product or service offering.
Data Management & Reporting :
- Maintain an updated CRM system with accurate lead information and status updates.
- Track lead generation performance and provide regular reports to the sales and marketing teams.
- Analyze the effectiveness of lead generation efforts and adjust strategies accordingly.
Collaboration :
- Work closely with the sales, marketing, and customer service teams to develop integrated strategies for lead nurturing.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure consistent messaging and alignment on client needs.
Required Skills and Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in lead generation, pre-sales, or sales roles.
- Knowledge of CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and lead management systems.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Understanding of the sales lifecycle, from pre-sales to post-sales.
