Designation: Sales Manager - Solar EPC Business

Primary Responsibilities :

As the Sales Manager for our Solar Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) business in India, you will play a crucial role in driving the sales strategy, revenue growth, and market expansion for our solar projects. You will manage a team of dedicated sales professionals, build strong relationships with key stakeholders, and drive business development initiatives to position our company as a leader in the renewable energy sector.

Reporting to: Sales Head

Requirement :

1. Deep understanding of the solar energy market, regulatory landscape, and industry dynamics in India.

2. Proven track record of successfully managing sales teams, exceeding sales targets, and driving business growth.

3. Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills with a customer-centric approach.

4. Strategic thinker with the ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.

5. Proficiency in CRM software, sales analytics tools, and MS Office suite.

6. Willingness to travel

Job Description :

1. Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to achieve revenue targets and business objectives in the solar EPC.

2. Manage, motivate, and coach the sales team to foster a high-performance culture and drive sales excellence.

3. Identify new business opportunities, partnerships, and collaborations to expand the company's presence in the solar market.

4. Collaborate with internal teams, including engineering, procurement, and project management, to ensure seamless project execution and customer satisfaction.

5. Monitor and analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities and mitigate risks.

6. Establish and maintain strong relationships with key clients, industry associations, government bodies, and other relevant stakeholders.

7. Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations, proposals, and negotiations to secure new business and partnerships.

8. Drive continuous improvement in sales processes, tools, and systems to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

9. Provide regular reports, forecasts, and updates to senior management on sales performance, market insights, and strategic initiatives.

Educational Qualification :

- Minimum of 5+ years of progressive experience in sales and business development, with at least 2 years in a sales lead role within the solar EPC industry
