Our success has driven us to expand globally, and we are excited about growing our team in Bangalore in 2019! As part of this growth, we are establishing the Creative Agency within our organization. Alliance Data partners with over 145 brands to deliver best-in-class credit loyalty programs. The Bangalore Creative Agency produces primarily print collateral for our cardmembers. The Copywriter contributes to the success of marketing initiatives for our cardmembers on behalf of our partner brands. Success in this role means being a versatile writer who can shift gears quickly to create smart copy for a range of marketing communications tactics. and savvy direct-to-consumer marketing material that is attention-grabbing and action-oriented. Supporting Cardmember work, you'll work closely with the internal creative team and be responsible for learning the tone and voice for each specific brand partner.
The role requires working to create original content, strong writing and editing skills, and a keen eye for proofreading. The Copywriter will work fluidly with the Senior Copywriter to produce great copy.
Education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities that are minimal in this role are as follows :
- Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or related field with strong examples of professional accomplishment.
- Two or more years of professional work experience in a marketing or communications-related field or equivalent field
- Experience with a wide range of writing styles (e.g., newsletters, brochures, collateral, direct marketing, digital, etc.) with high volume, complex projects with multiple components.
- Experience working in the financial sector a plus
- Able to synthesize information from multiple sources to craft clear and concise communications
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Adobe Acrobat
- Expert knowledge of US English language, grammar, sentence structure and cultural norms as related to content expression.
- Knowledge of key terms related to credit card programs
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills in order to gain trust, achieve business objectives and work directly with a broad group of team members.
- Project management skills and ability to multi-task, meeting expectations of on-time, on-budget, and error-free delivery
