Alacrity - Event Manager (1-3 yrs)
Alacrity India is a startup fund and enabler with an incubator/accelerator based in Pune. It is part of the Alacrity Global startup ecosystem present in Canada, the UK, France, Turkey, Mexico, China, Indonesia, and Singapore. It is backed by Wesley Clover International (the venture capital and investment firm of Canada-based serial super angel Sir Terry Matthews) and by Ideas to Impacts founded by Gireendra Kasmalkar, India's preeminent software testing entrepreneur.
- Alacrity India has been recently selected by NITI Aayog (Govt. of India) to help Alacrity India setup 10,000 Sq. ft. of innovation center and SaaS center of excellence (CoE). The mandate of the innovation center is to incubate and accelerate 50+ startups over the next 5 years and help them raise Series A capital.
1. Research, produce and execute events that effectively drive awareness and generate leads (sponsorships, conferences, etc) '
2. Assist in content capture of events and experiences for the digital and brand teams
3. Support the execution of any core campaigns, as directed by the central brand team
4. Track and analyze the ROI of every event
5. Manage frequent stakeholder interactions with Public relations and ensure all the articles are in alignment with the brand Research, produce and execute partnerships that effectively drive awareness and generate leads
6. Scout, present and manage both internal and external events for brand promotion.
7. Produce both internal and external events to grow brand awareness, program awareness, and strengthen relationships with broker and brand's target audience.
8. Responsible for all aspects of event management including internal and external communication, vendor scouting, negotiation, finalizing, managing all event logistics (external and internal logistics), track spends and evaluation of event success with manager & marketing team.
9. Tracking detailed spends, vendor list and costs for comparison and management for the marketing team.
10. Create and submit reports for each event to the manager and marketing team.
11. Record and maintain event lists and performance for the month, quarter and business year for evaluation and reporting.
12. Conduct research for the department as related to venue searches, themes, vendors, partners, caterers, govt officials (if any) for every event.
13. Heavy focus on events management and coordination, with miscellaneous marketing tasks required throughout the year.
