Akbar Travels - Branch Manager (10-15 yrs)
The leading Indian Multi-National Travel Management Company urgently require:-
BRANCH MANAGER for one of its branches in Mumbai for Vasai Branch.
Local Catholic candidate from Vasai who can speak East Indian Marathi Fluently will be an added advantage.
Qualification:
1. Graduation is a must.
2. Preference will be given to those having IATA/UFTAA and/or Diploma/Degree in Air Travel Management.
3. Hands on experience of GDS/CRS (Sabre/Amadeus/Galileo).
Work Experience:
Minimum of 10 years experience in the travel industry, out of which at least 3 years in Managerial cadre.
Skills:
1. Good communication skill, both written & spoken.
2. Should be familiar with industry's rules and regulations.
3. Ability to cope with long hours and pressure at peak times.
4. Should possess inspiring leadership qualities and be a team leader & a team player at the same time
Responsibilities:
1. Key responsibility - Business development by Sales and marketing with special emphasis to corporate business.
2. Meet sales targets and production goals
3. Promote and market the business, including sometimes away from the branch location.
4. Direct all operational aspects including operations, accounts, customer service, human resources, administration and sales.
5. Bring out the best of branch's personnel by providing training, coaching, development and motivation
6. Ensuring that staff adheres to financial & operational procedures and that any training needs are identified and addressed.
7. Managing & motivating staff to meet targets, thus ensuring the profitability of the company.
8. Dealing with staff welfare, disciplinary matters and customer complaints.
9. Locate areas of improvement and propose corrective actions that meet challenges and leverage growth opportunities.
10. Meeting regularly with company directors to provide feedback on branch & staff performance; and to take direction.
11. Overseeing the smooth & efficient running of the branch.
Salary : Mumbai: Rs 720000 CTC
