Ajmal Perfumes - Search Engine Optimization Specialist (5-10 yrs)
Responsibilities :
1) Perform keyword research and competitive analysis
2) Understand and implement technical SEO audits and changes.
3) Execute on-page optimizations
4) Implement changes in content management systems (CMS)
5) Manage content production by planning content calendars, managing writers (or collaborating with content writing teams), and supporting them on SEO
6) Devise and execute methods to track, report, analyze and improve SEO performance
7) Collaborate with SEO managers and other in-house marketing teams
8) Collaborate with developers and product teams to implement necessary features and changes
9) Develop new SEO tests and strategies
10) Present and communicate SEO strategies and projects to clients and/or internal stakeholders
11) Serve as the key SEO expert/advocate
12) Keep up-to-date with latest SEO trends, strategies and algorithm changes
13) Develop keyword plans through conducting keyword research on a regular basis to generate content ideas and optimize existing content
14) Plan and oversee the entire website architecture, restructuring page hierarchy where necessary
15) Optimize web pages such as the homepage, landing pages, blog posts, product pages (on-page SEO) in terms of improving content quality, keyword optimization, and user experience to boost organic search rankings
16) Write SEO optimized content
17) Manage SEO-related assets, tools/platforms including Google My Business, Google Search Console, Google Analytics, Google Keyword Planner, Ahrefs, Semrush, Majestic, Screaming Frog,
18) Identify and close content gaps between company website and competitor content
- Conduct regular technical SEO audits and work with the web development team to fix technical website issues (e.g. slow page load speeds, page crawl errors, and duplicate content) that may negatively impact organic search rankings
19) Conduct full-scale SEO audit (technical, on-page, and off-page) on both mobile and desktop website versions to provide recommendations for improvement in key areas such as keyword optimization on meta tags and images, content quality, and link building
20) Execute link building campaigns through the creation and promotion of linkable assets, outreach, and submission-based link building
21) Integrate on-page and off-page SEO (link building) with content marketing, social media marketing, and digital PR initiatives
22) Implement local and international SEO techniques across local (Google My Business listings) and international websites
23) Regularly track and monitor new and existing keyword ranking positions and devise integrated marketing strategies to increase organic search rankings
24) Measure key SEO metrics such as organic traffic, ranking positions, domain authority, conversion and conversion rates, engagement metrics such as dwell time and organic return visits and provide recommendations for improvement
25) Perform competitive analysis to benchmark current SEO performance against competitors and devise strategies to surpass competitors
26) Keep up to date with the latest SEO trends, search algorithm updates, and new SEO tools and best practices.
Requirements :
1) 5+ years of experience working in SEO
2) Good understanding of SEO best practices
3) Passion for SEO and internet marketing
4) Ability to create, justify, communicate and implement SEO strategies across teams and external agencies
5) Data-driven and analytical mindset
6) Attention to detail
7) Project management skills
8) Experience working with SEO tools including Google Search Console, Google Analytics, Ahrefs, and Screaming Frog
9) Experience with and/or understanding of code (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
10) Experience with and/or understanding of other marketing channels (e.g. PPC)
11) Experience working with popular CMS (e.g., Magento, Wordpress)
12) Experience with technical SEO
13) Excellent writing skills.
