Aikyam Capital - Business Development Support Role (3-5 yrs)
ob Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Business Development Support professional in the Capital Markets division. The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years of experience in a business support or administrative role, with a foundational understanding of capital markets. The candidate will assist the Business Development team in executing strategies to acquire and retain clients, providing operational support, and preparing key business documents and presentations.
Key Responsibilities :
- Business Development Support : Assist the Business Development team in identifying new business opportunities and supporting ongoing client relationships.
- Market Research : Conduct basic research on market trends, competitors, and potential leads to assist in formulating business strategies.
- Documentation and Reporting : Prepare reports, proposals, and presentations for clients and internal stakeholders. Ensure accuracy and timeliness of deliverables.
- Client Interaction Support : Assist with scheduling meetings, follow-ups, and communications with potential clients or partners.
- Data Management : Organize and maintain business development data, including client details, contact logs, and meeting notes.
- Presentation Preparation : Develop and design PowerPoint presentations for client pitches and internal meetings.
- Sales Support : Assist in the creation of sales materials, brochures, and other marketing content tailored to capital markets services.
- Collaborative Support : Work closely with cross-functional teams such as Sales, Marketing, and Operations to ensure smooth execution of business strategies.
- Operational Assistance : Maintain and update business records, databases, and CRM systems.
Required Skills & Qualifications :
Education : Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or related field.
Experience : 2-3 years of experience in a business support role, preferably in the financial services or capital markets industry.
Capital Markets Knowledge : Basic understanding of capital markets, including equities, bonds, derivatives, and market structures.
Technical Skills : Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Ability to create detailed reports, financial models, and presentations.
Analytical Skills : Strong analytical abilities to interpret data and provide insights to support business decisions.
Communication Skills : Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to prepare clear and concise business documents.
Attention to Detail : Ability to work with high accuracy and attention to detail.
Time Management: Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Team Player : Ability to collaborate with team members and support the overall business development process.
Desirable Skills :
- Experience working with CRM tools and other business development software.
- Knowledge of financial markets regulations and industry best practices.
- Prior experience in business development or sales support in the financial services industry.
