Agency Business Development Manager - Freight Forwarding (8-15 yrs)
Job Overview :
The Agency Business Development Manager is responsible for driving growth by identifying new business opportunities, building strategic relationships, and enhancing the agency's market presence. This role involves developing and executing strategies to acquire new clients, manage client relationships, and support the overall business objectives of the agency.
Qualification : Any Graduation/Post Graduation
Roles & Responsibilities :
1. Identify and target potential clients within the freight forwarding sector. Develop and implement strategies to acquire new business and expand the company's market share.
2. Develop sales for the region, Market Visibility and to sell all the products - Air Imports, Air Export, Sea Import, Sea Export
3. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients. Understand their logistics needs and provide tailored solutions to meet their requirements.
4. Create and execute sales strategies to meet or exceed revenue targets (3 times of the CTC). Monitor market trends and competitor activities to adjust strategies accordingly.
5. Prepare and deliver compelling proposals and presentations to prospective clients. Negotiate terms and close sales deals.
6. Provide exceptional customer service throughout the sales process. Address client concerns and resolve issues promptly to ensure client satisfaction.
7. Work closely with the operations and logistics teams to ensure seamless service delivery. Communicate client needs and expectations effectively.
8. Track and report on sales activities, pipeline status, and performance metrics. Use CRM tools to manage and document client interactions and sales progress.
9. Maintain GP% as per management guidelines
10. Develop different Trade lane business as per management strategy plan.
11. To maintain records on enquiry generation and its conversion
12. Responsible to stop work orders if unsafe practices are discovered.
13. Responsible for pertaining to Quality, Environmental, Occupational Health and Safety for communicating to internal or external parties.
14. Ensure compliance with legal and QEHS system requirements.
15. Ensure activities meet with and integrate with organizational requirements for quality management, Occupational Health and Safety, legal stipulations, environmental policies, and general duty of care.
16. Responsible to take care of your own health and safety and that of others who may be affected by what you do or do not do.
