Job Title : Assistant Manager
Description :
Responsible for overall success of KHETHINEXT across multiple districts which includes partnerships with local FPOs, driving sale of inputs, driving farmer awareness campaigns, facilitating aggregation and quality assessment of desired farmers produce associated with FPOs.
Required : 5 Resources
Locations : 4 based in Guntur, Andhra Pradesh and 1 based in Warangal, Telangana.
Education : BSc (Ag)
Professional experience : Minimum 2-5 years of experience in marketing of chemical and biochemical farm inputs or marketing of commodities, experience working with FPOs will be an added advantage.
Reporting : Regional Manager
Detailed Responsibilities :
1. Identify potential Farmer Producer Organisations/ Farmers Associations/ Self Help Groups across identified districts and convince them to be KHETHINEXT partners.
2. Conduct farmer awareness programs or any other promotional events with support from local FPOs, leveraging commodity buyers and input companies to demonstrate value driven through KHETHINEXT.
3. Participation in events held at regional level in promoting KHETHINEXT.
4. Drive to achieve targets for sale of inputs and produce for KHETHINEXT at identified districts.
5. Liaison between FPOs and other partner organizations in extending timely delivery of products and services to farmers.
6. Drive partner FPOs to aggregate farmer produce and right visibility is provided on the KHETHINEXT platform
7. Drive partner FPOs to provide proper assistant to farmers in terms of using KHETHINEXT platform for ordering inputs, seeking expert advices as desired, updating the crop stages, follow good agriculture practices and aggregating farmer produce.
8. Facilitate proper quality assurance measures are taken by partner FPOs while aggregating farmers produce.
9. Provide market intelligence and cropping status from farmers and FPOs within identified districts.
10. Conduct field surveys on cropping pattern in the region involving the farmer support executives and partner FPOs to estimate the expected production and inform the HQ for mobilising external buyers.
11. Provide guidance and monitor the activities performed by Farmer Support Executives deputed with partner FPOs for interacting with farmers such as enrolling farmers and supporting them in leveraging KHETHINEXT services.
12. Drive targets for creating farmer success stories and testimonials within the identified districts.
