Aegon Life - Territory Manager - Third Party Partners (4-10 yrs)
KEY PURPOSE
To manage and develop the Broking & Cooperative Banks Vertical for Goregaon
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Be the relationship manager for the corporate agents of the region
- Achieve and exceed business targets on a consistent basis,
- Ensure compliance and correctness of business sourced from the corporate agents
- Training and developing channel on Aegon standards
- Nurturing the relationship with channel partner
STRATEGIC
- Formulating business development strategies with the partner
- Being involved in developing the business enhancement activities/strategies for the channel
FINANCIAL
- Work within the desired cost limits for the business sourced from the channel
- Manage the persistency levels of the business sourced from these channels
- Ensure the monthly and annual business number goals are met
PROCESS
- Ensure full understanding of our systems and processes by the partner employees
- Manage the quality of sale done by the corporate agents in the region
- Manage proper training for corporate agency employees with a view to improve productivity
- Manage and run the Rewards & Recognition programmes for the corporate agents
KEY CRITICAL COMPETENCIES
- Understanding of the Insurance business and products
- Should have functional sales planning and management capabilities
- People Management of direct employees and of the channel partner employees
- Relationship management
- Ability to motivate a team
- Competition analysis.
PROFILE
Ideally and MBA with 4-5 years of experience of running similar channels for an insurance company. Local language proficiency will be an added advantage. Should have worked in the market in any earlier or current stint.
