Aegon Life - Area Manager - Direct Sales (7-10 yrs)
KEY PURPOSE :
- Profitable Business Performance of the Branch
- Volumes of Business
- Manpower Built up
- People Management & Branch Administration
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :
- FINANCIAL
- Meet the revenue target of the Branch.
- Drive distribution objectives - Target Segments, Reach, Penetration, Cross Sell & Up Sell
- Periodic review of sales, analyze performance vis--vis target and achievement
- CUSTOMER
- Ensure adherence to minimum response time in case of customer complaints
- Ensure adherence to sales process to ensure that Relationship Managers provide complete and comprehensive information on products, services, charges etc. proactively to the customer
PROCESS :
- Record & highlight all non compliant & discrepant behavior to the management
- Ensure compliance to Branch Audit checklist & KYC/AML/IRDA guidelines at all times
- Scrutinize process flows periodically and establish quality checks
- Monitor and leverage on MIS to minimize loss of leads and maximize conversions
PEOPLE :
- Manage, coach & train the branch staff through workshops, personal interaction & joint fieldwork
- Identify specific training needs and facilitate skill development through various measures
- Ensure that the business & product knowledge of the team is upgraded through regular checks and interventions from training team.
Qualification & Experience :
- Candidate must either be a Graduate with at least 8 years of sales experience OR an MBA from reputed institute with at least 5 years of experience. Team management experience of at least 2 years is a must.
- Candidates having experience in life insurance industry (preferably from Direct channel), Banking Industry (preferably from Direct Sales Liabilities, Investment & Services & Wealth Management)
