Location : This Position Will Be Based in Hauz Khas, New Delhi. National-level Travel Will Be Expected.

Position Overview :
The Admissions Manager will oversee all aspects of the admissions process, from recruitment to enrolment. This role requires a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of the higher education landscape, particularly within niche programs like public policy. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in admissions, excellent interpersonal skills, and a commitment to providing a seamless and positive experience for prospective students.
Key Responsibilities :
The admissions manager carries overall responsibility for student enrolment at ISPP. The role includes the following but is not limited to :
Strategic Admissions Planning :
- Develop and implement a comprehensive admissions strategy to attract a diverse pool of qualified applicants to the college's program.
- Analyse application trends and data to identify opportunities for improving recruitment efforts and increasing conversion rates.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to design and execute targeted outreach campaigns.
Recruitment & Outreach :
- Plan and participate in recruitment events, including open houses, webinars, information sessions, and college fairs.
- Build and maintain relationships with prospective students, educational institutions, industry professionals, and other stakeholders.
- Manage communication with prospective students through various channels, including email, phone, social media, and in-person meetings.
Application Management :
- Oversee the entire application process, from initial inquiries to final decisions, ensuring timely and accurate processing of applications.
- Review and assess applicant qualifications, conduct interviews and make admissions recommendations.
- Coordinate with academic departments to evaluate applicant fit and make final admissions decisions.
Enrolment Management :
- Work closely with admitted students to ensure a smooth transition from acceptance to enrolment.
- Develop and implement yield strategies to convert accepted students into enrolled students, including personalised follow-ups, scholarship offers, and pre-enrolment activities.
- Monitor enrolment numbers and work towards achieving the college's enrolment goals.
Data Analysis & Reporting :
- Maintain accurate records of all admissions activities and provide regular reports on application trends, demographics, and enrolment statistics.
- Use data to inform and adjust admissions strategies, ensuring continuous recruitment and enrolment improvement.
Team Leadership & Collaboration :
- Supervise and mentor admissions staff, providing guidance and support to ensure high performance and professional growth.
- Collaborate with other departments, including academic, financial aid, and student services, to ensure a cohesive and supportive admissions process.
- Stay informed of trends and best practices in higher education admissions and incorporate them into the college's processes.
- Travel forms a significant part of this role and can range anywhere from 25% - 45% of the workload
Qualifications :
- 7+ years of experience and aptitude in admissions or a related department in an educational setting
- Strong understanding of admissions processes and procedures
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to analyse data and make informed decisions
- Experience with student information systems and CRM software
