2. Admissions counselors can help students with academic planning and study skills, and help them overcome learning difficulties.
3. Admissions counselors may plan events and facilitate workshops.
4. Admissions counselors may travel to attend college fairs and high school visits to promote the school and answer questions.
5. Admissions counselors may review and evaluate applications and transcripts, and offer advice to students on how to make their applications stand out.
6. Admissions counselors listen to students' problems in an open and nonjudgmental way.
7. Admissions counselors should be able to multitask and stay organized.
8. Admissions counselors should have strong interpersonal skills.
