Acies - Assistant Manager/Manager - Business Development (5-10 yrs)
1. Overview of the role-
Detailed expectations from role
- Nature of role: Full time, fully work from office.
- Sales experience reqd.: 5+ years of experience in direct lead generation and sales of software solutions & consulting services to BFSI clients (banks, NBFCs, insurers, capital market firms etc.). Experience of selling to corporate or non-BFSI clients is not relevant and will not be considered.
- Areas of past sales experience required:
- Experience of selling software / consulting in one or more of the following areas to BFSI clients:
- Operational risk systems.
- Third party risk management systems.
- Business continuity planning / management systems.
- Incident / case management systems.
- Compliance & internal audit systems.
- Enterprise risk management / general GRC areas.
- Familiarity with CRM systems for tracking outreach results, leads, pursuits etc.
- Strong communication skills with enthusiasm and passion required to persuade B2B prospects.
- Educational qualification: Graduate or Master's degree.
- Language requirements: Ability to write & speak fluently in English and Hindi (desirable).
- Software skills reqd.: Strong command on Microsoft PowerPoint, Word and Excel is expected.
2. Detailed expectations from role-
Key performance metrics:
- Leads generated and converted, from new and existing accounts.
- 360-degree view of each opportunity, including influencers & decision makers, competitors, procurement process, Acies' perceived positioning and risks that can derail the opportunity.
- New relationships developed in the marketplace and sales in new accounts.
- Sales with SI partners and sales with consulting partners.
- Cash revenue generated during the financial year and revenue sold for future years.
- Adherence to internal sales operations processes and organization's policies.
Other expectations:
- An "ownership attitude" with a passion for creating market for Acies product and services.
- Strong business writing and oral communication skills
- Collaborative and partnership-oriented and ready to work as a team member/ leader.
3. Other relevant information-
- Work permit requirements: Indian Citizen or holding a valid work permit to work in India.
- Period of engagement: Full-time
- Probation period: 6 months
- Leave: 22 working days a year. Additional leaves for national holidays, sick leaves, maternity and paternity, bereavement and studies vary based on the city and country of engagement.
4. Selection process-
We seek to be transparent during the selection process. While the actual process may vary from the process indicated below, the key steps involved are as follows:
- Interview: There are expected to be at least 2 rounds of interviews. The number of interview rounds may increase depending on the criticality and seniority of the role involved.
