Account Receivable Caller - Insurance (2-10 yrs)
Description :
- Verifies insurance eligibility and benefits
- Prepare or update insurance benefits in the system
- Ensures accurate patient demographic information is entered into the system
- Remediates any errors or issues involving patients- demographics and insurance
- Research payer portals and internal systems to track down and capture necessary information to financial clear a patient
- Will run estimates and update patient liability amounts (co-pay, deductibles, etc.) within the system as necessary
- Will check if authorization is necessary and if so, will inquire on payer portals or call payers as necessary to see if an authorization is on file.
