Account Manager - Sales - IT (6-10 yrs)
Key Responsibilities:
- Revenue Generation & Business Growth
- Achieve a target revenue of INR 6 Crores annually by driving business development activities.
- Farm and generate new business from existing and aligned clients.
- Develop and execute account plans for mining and expanding existing accounts.
- Client Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customer stakeholders.
- Handle multiple client accounts simultaneously, including negotiation with large enterprise clients.
- Conduct client meetings and presentations, ensuring alignment with client needs and company offerings.
- Operational & Sales Coordination
- Manage all operational activities including contractual agreements and invoicing.
- Coordinate with pre-sales and delivery teams for proposal creation and pre-sales activities.
- Build and maintain an adequate sales pipeline to meet quarterly targets.
- Track and manage deal margins and account profitability.
- Strategic Account Management
- Map and build relationships with key decision-makers in mid to large-sized firms (USD 100M+ revenue).
- Expand deals to sizes greater than USD 130K (INR 1 Crore).
- Understand and communicate company offerings and unique selling propositions (USPs) to prospects.
- o Liaise with internal stakeholders, including the recruitment team, to fulfill business opportunities.
- Skills & Competencies
- Proven track record in achieving sales targets by mining aligned accounts.
- Strong understanding of the QA process, IT services, and product industry.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
- Experience in creating proposals, pricing strategies, and sales presentations.
- Strong leadership qualities, ability to work independently, and manage ambiguity.
- Problem-solving skills, meticulous, and result-oriented.
- Educational & Professional Qualifications
- MBA in Sales, Marketing.
- Experience in the IT services and products industry is required.
