Account Manager - Presales - Engineering Services (8-12 yrs)
Job Summary :
- We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Accounts Manager with a background in Product Engineering for our Pre Sales team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of product engineering processes, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record of driving sales success. As an Accounts Manager in Pre Sales, you will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with potential clients, understanding their business needs, and presenting tailored solutions to drive revenue growth.
Responsibilities :
- Develop and execute strategic account plans to drive sales growth in the product engineering domain.
- Identify and engage with potential clients, understanding their business objectives, challenges, and pain points.
- Conduct in-depth needs analysis to identify opportunities for our product engineering solutions and services.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, engineering, and marketing, to develop compelling proposals and presentations.
- Deliver persuasive presentations and demonstrations to showcase the value proposition of our product engineering offerings.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders at client organizations, including C-level executives, decision-makers, and influencers.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies in the product engineering space.
- Work closely with the sales team to identify and pursue upselling and cross-selling opportunities within existing accounts.
- Monitor and report on sales performance metrics, pipeline activity, and revenue forecasts.
- Provide feedback and insights from the market to inform product development and marketing strategies.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred.
- Proven experience in a sales or business development role, preferably in the product engineering domain.
- Strong knowledge of product engineering processes, methodologies, and tools.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to understand complex technical concepts and articulate them in a clear and concise manner.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain long-term client relationships.
- The results-oriented mindset with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently as well as in a team environment.
- Willingness to travel to client sites as required.
