Account Manager - Client Services (1-3 yrs)
Core Responsibilities :
This role is part of the Sales & Marketing function with the SAMs being the owner of the Revenue & first point of contact for any service related concerns for key Enterprise & Corporate Clients.
Key responsibilities would include :
- Business volume growth
- Drive Business Revenue from the accounts with complete ownership of growth
- Keep an eye out for drops in volumes - any lane drops, any destination drop, any origin drop etc.
- Identify new opportunities in the network- through calls with clients/ BP etc. shipping point, destination etc.
- Manage operations
- Manage client escalations, share a weekly report of status of all escalations back to the client. Share a daily end of day summary to CSM for any escalations
- Critical consignee engagement (as VoC) of our consignors, understand the challenges and resolve (Consignee engagement) - once a month
- Manage business relations
- Conduct fortnightly reviews with the clients, in the presence of the Business Development Official
- Work with Finance to ensure invoicing on time and manage any gaps
- Identify new business opportunities
- In the associated companies of our clients, pass such leads to BD
- Seek references in the old organisations of the dispatch managers where they might be coming from
