Account Manager - Business Development - IT (6-8 yrs)
Job Summary:
We are seeking a results-oriented Business Development and Account Manager to drive growth in our IT services vertical while managing and nurturing relationships with our existing clients. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of business development, account management expertise, and a deep understanding of IT services.
Key Responsibilities:
Business Development:
- Identify and generate leads through networking, market research, and outreach to target industries.
- Develop and execute strategies to secure new clients and grow revenue streams.
- Collaborate with the leadership team to explore new business opportunities and markets.
Client Account Management:
- Act as the primary point of contact for existing clients, ensuring their requirements are understood and met.
- Build and nurture strong client relationships to drive satisfaction, loyalty, and repeat business.
- Proactively identify opportunities to upsell and cross-sell IT services to existing clients.
Sales Strategy & Execution:
- Develop and implement business development and account management plans aligned with organizational goals.
- Meet and exceed revenue targets and KPIs for both new business and existing accounts.
Delivery Coordination:
- Work closely with delivery teams to ensure timely and quality delivery of projects for existing clients.
- Act as a bridge between clients and internal teams, addressing and resolving any issues or concerns.
Market Analysis:
- Conduct research to identify emerging trends, competitive landscape, and new opportunities in the IT services market.
- Provide strategic inputs to the leadership team for market positioning.
Proposal & Reporting:
- Collaborate with technical teams to create compelling proposals, presentations, and pricing models for new clients and additional work for existing clients.
- Maintain accurate records of sales pipelines, account statuses, and client feedback.
Key Requirements:
- Experience: 6-8 years of proven experience in business development and account management within the IT services industry.
- Technical Acumen: Understanding of IT services such as AI/ML, Data Analytics, Cloud Solutions, and Enterprise Product Development.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Business Administration, or a related field. An MBA is a plus.
- Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Networking: Strong network of industry contacts and the ability to develop new connections.
- Client Management Skills: Proven ability to manage and grow existing accounts while ensuring client satisfaction.
- Goal-Oriented: Demonstrated ability to achieve and exceed sales and account retention targets.
