Account Executive/Manager/Director - Public Relations (0-7 yrs)
We have exciting opening with PR agency in Bangalore
Roles & responsibilities:
1. Media relations :
- Demonstrates keen understanding traditional and new-age media and the changing media landscape
- Develop strong relationships with key journalists, especially at editor-level, and other influencers relevant to the clients
2. Client relationship management :
- Consults with clients on all aspects of their communication requirements to build long term relationship
- As their account lead set processes and protocols, ensures delivery of communication mandate and be the primary level of escalation
- Understands client business and articulate impact of communications, build communication strategy, create implementation plans
3. Team management :
- Mentor, coach team members towards overall development
- Support and direct teams in the development as well as coordination of day-to-day work
- Responsible for the team's timely and quality outcome of work
4. Business Development :
- Ideate, help develop plans and contribute to new business development
- Aid in driving existing client relationships and mine for possible new business efforts as well as organically grow accounts
Experience level: Minimum 6months of PR experience
Qualification :
- Graduate or Postgraduate in any communications field
- Experience in PR is essential; exposure to digital and social media marketing would be added advantage
- Strong communications skills, spoken and written. This is an absolute must!
- Strong media relations, especially at the editorial level. This is an absolute must!
- Demonstrated skills in client servicing and managing of tricky and complex situations
- Strong presentation and communication skills to deliver complex or creative ideas
