Account Director - Media Planning/Buying - Digital Marketing Agency (8-9 yrs)
We are looking for a candidate with media planning/ buying experience for a digital marketing agency based out of Mumbai.
Overall responsibilities include-
Areas of Accountability -
- Project delivery - on time, on quality and on budget
- Accountable for leadership and vision in five primary areas:
Product/Service -
- Oversee all deliverables from concept to final delivery
- Provide proactive contribution to clients- business, demonstrating best-in-class interactive product (innovation and quality)
- Drive collaboration with other verticals to meet client's marketing objectives and ensure integrated, synergistic business approach.
- Final approval authority and responsibility of all deliverables
- Fosters innovation and quality to ensure delivery of best product in the industry
- Provide insight and analysis of digital trends/projections
- Be the brand/category subject matter expert
- Works as client/PM on project assigned to ensure all deliverables and deadlines are met within budget and quality
Department Management -
- Leads and manages team
- Attracts and retains best account management talent
- Stewards career management and mentorship -
- Ensures strong morale
- Oversees flawless delivery of all projects within individual client clusters
- Escalation point for all team members and final approver
Client Leadership :
- Be the day-to-day resource for interactive leadership/vision for mid- to senior-level clients
- Develop annual account plan and achieve strategic/financial goals
- Document, negotiate, and secure all contractual agreements and sign-offs with Clients
- Proactive business review meetings to be conducted with all the clients
- Be an engaging and trusted advisor that client respects and warm to
Business Development :
- As assigned by Business Head respond to RFPs and/or requests for participation in new business pitches
- Farm existing clients and ensure minimum leakage
- Facilitation and participation in brainstorming meetings, reviewing budgets and schedules, creating overall vision/strategy, ensuring timely delivery of quality final proposal
- Create and monitor co-owned project schedules
- Manage risks and communication for projects assigned to the team
Responsible for financial oversight of account :
- Contracts
- SOWs
- Pre-billing
- Invoice approval
- Time reporting/approvals
- Reconciliations
- Accounts Receivables
- Profitability/Revenue targets

Requirements :
- Capable to lead, present and sell effectively, build rapport among clients and internal constituencies
- Commands respect among clients and internal constituencies
- Enthusiasm for IA, interactive category and innovation
- Post Graduate / MBA
- Must have 8+ years of experience in the digital landscape
- Strong management/marketing experience including: team, budget and client relationship
- Excellent writing and presentation skills
