Account Director - Key Account Management - SaaS (1-3 yrs)

Job Description :

We are looking for an experienced Account Director - Key Accounts to join our team and lead the growth of high-value, strategic accounts (Corporate and HR Consultants). This role is ideal for an individual who has a proven track record of driving SaaS sales, specifically with self-lead generation and account mapping expertise. The successful candidate should be high on resilience and persistent on follow-ups, strong on communication and have experience working with challenger brands in the SaaS space.

Key Responsibilities :

- Account Management: Own and drive the growth of a portfolio of strategic accounts. Develop and implement effective strategies to maximize revenue and profitability for each assigned account.

- Lead Generation: Proactively generate new business through a combination of outbound - calling, competition analysis and referral channels. Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting and lead generation to deal closure.

- Account Mapping: Apply a scientific approach to account mapping. Analyze potential opportunities within large accounts, identify key stakeholders and develop a roadmap to target and penetrate those accounts.

- Sales Strategy and Execution: Work with senior management to develop sales strategies for key accounts and drive the execution of these strategies. Prioritize high-value opportunities while ensuring exceptional customer experience and satisfaction.

- Stakeholder Management: Develop strong relationships with key decision-makers and influencers within accounts. Effectively communicate the value proposition of our solutions to various stakeholders.

- Collaboration: Work closely with the product, marketing, and customer success teams to ensure alignment on account goals, product offerings, and customer needs.

- Challenger Brand Expertise: Bring the mindset and strategies developed within challenger brands to create differentiated sales approaches and effectively position the company against competitors in the marketplace.

Requirements :

- Minimum Experience: At least 1-3 years of experience in account management or sales within the SaaS industry, handling high-volume orders (25+ orders per year).

- Self-Lead Generation: Proven ability to generate leads independently, including through networking, cold-calling, or other innovative methods.

- Scientific Account Mapping: Strong understanding of account mapping and ability to apply a structured, data-driven approach to uncover opportunities in large, complex accounts.

- Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex solutions in a clear and compelling manner.

- Resilience and Persistence: Demonstrated resilience and the ability to handle rejection while maintaining focus and motivation to meet targets.

- Experience with Challenger Brands: Previous experience in working with a challenger brand or a startup environment, where innovation and market disruption were key drivers of success.

- Interested candidates should be prepared to meet daily sales expectations, which include making 40 phone calls, attending 2-3 field meetings, and conducting 1 demo per day
