Key Responsibilities:

Student Advising:

- Meet with Professionals individually to assess their academic needs, career goals, and personal challenges.

- Provide guidance on program selection, course registration, and academic planning to ensure Professionals meet program requirements.

- Offer advice on study strategies, time management, and effective learning techniques.

Career Counseling:

- Assist Professionals in identifying and exploring potential healthcare career paths, including nursing, medical assisting, healthcare administration, and more.

- Provide information on job market trends, employment opportunities, and internship or externship placements.

- Help Professionals prepare for interviews, create resumes, and develop job search strategies.

Record Keeping and Documentation:

- Maintain accurate records of student interactions, including academic plans, progress reports, and counseling sessions.

- Ensure confidentiality and compliance with relevant regulations and policies.

Educational Resources:

- Stay updated on the latest developments in the healthcare industry and educational requirements.

- Share relevant educational resources and information with Professionals to support their academic and career goals.

Communication and Outreach:

- Organize and conduct informational sessions, workshops, and presentations to educate Professionals about academic and career opportunities.

- Collaborate with other departments and faculty members to enhance the overall student experience.

Qualifications:

- A bachelor's degree in counseling, education, psychology, or a related field is typically required. A master's degree may be preferred.

- Knowledge of the healthcare industry, including various career paths and educational requirements will be a plus.

- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

- Empathy and the ability to provide emotional support to Professionals.

- Excellent organizational and record-keeping abilities.

- Familiarity with educational advising software and tools is a plus

- English and Hindi, Multilingual would be preferred
