AACS Consulting - Specialist - Digital Marketing (7-12 yrs)
Terms of Reference : Digital Marketing Specialist
- AACS Consulting is looking to employ a remote/home-based talented Digital Marketing and Communications Specialist with exceptional digital media (SEO, SMO, Web development, graphics design), communication (content development), and outreach skills. The incumbent is expected to be a "strategic thinker" with meticulous attention to detail, working well under pressure and meeting deadlines.
- S/he will need to have excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to be 100% productive in a home-based role, multi-task and adapt in a fast-paced environment. S/he will have frequent interactions with the leadership to understand the thought process and then convert them into reality through a strategic design and implementation plan for digital marketing.
- To ensure success, s/he should be innovative, organized, and self-motivated with a keen interest in driving strategic messages to a variety of the target audiences of AACS Consulting. In a fast-moving marketing landscape, the incumbent needs to be agile, flexible, strategic, and tactical and the ability to tactically execute to look at the big picture while taking care of day-to-day operations.
The following are major duties and responsibilities for the incumbent :
1. Develop effective internal and external strategies for communications and outreach geared towards supporting AACS Consulting and resource mobilization, focusing on the achievement of the following results
a. Planning and elaboration of communications needs assessments for AACS Consulting based on industry best practices.
b. Development of corporate marketing and branding strategy.
c. Design of high-quality marketing and branding packages.
d. Provide innovative and creative ideas to the team for design and development of - Vectors, Graphics, infographics, report designs and other design related aspects to create impactful outputs
e. Constructive and timely advice on the inclusion of communications components in project formulations to integrate advocacy and communication strategies into all aspects of AACS Consulting projects' development.
2. Manage the writing, development, design, production and dissemination of diverse publications and news releases through a variety of media, including print, broadcast and social, focusing on the achievement of the following results :
a. Well-reasoned innovative suggestions and approaches to addressing communications issues
b. Design and develop a thorough and practical corporate media and communication strategy
c. Elaboration and implementation of the AACS Consulting publications strategy and plan based on the corporate media and communication strategy
d. Identification and development of storyline for publications and substantive articles.
e. Coordination and management of all AACS Consulting publication activities, including content management, editing, norms for publishing, design, liaison with the in-house team to oversee production and supervision of publications dissemination
f. Editing, review and correction of all AACS Consulting publications and dissemination of materials drafted by other members of the team.
g. Opportunities to leverage social media channels of AACS Consulting.
3. Oversees the content development, expansion and continual assessment of the quality and relevance of AACS Consulting corporate website information, contents and reflection of corporate branding and industry best standards utilization, focusing on achievement of the following results:
a. Website contents strongly and effectively reflect AACS Consulting branding and marketing principles and priorities.
b. Regularly updated information on the website in terms of technical advancement and industry-specific design and customization.
c. Innovative ways of enhancing AACS Consulting information dissemination using the internet.
4. Promotes optimum visibility of AACS Consulting activities through effective media relations, placement and distribution of information material and focusing on achievement of the following results:
a. Strong relations with media and communication agencies
b. Strategic partnerships formed with media counterparts at other agencies, and with external media networks, strengthening internal capacity for media, communication, and technical expertise
c. Enhanced digital media coverage of AACS Consulting and its strategic areas, positions, and issues, in line with corporate communications strategies
d. Press releases, advisories, background information, press/media kits and updated information and success stories drafted and disseminated to inform media and the general public of AACS Consulting work initiatives, results and successes, and other achievements.
e. Advice and technical support to AACS Consulting's in-house marketing and communications unit in developing media campaigns and initiatives, strategies provided for effective media relations and digital media marketing.
5. Collaborates effectively with Team and colleagues and facilitation of knowledge-building and knowledge sharing, focusing on achievement of the following results :
a. Strong working relationships formed and maintained with in-house marketing and communications team, enhancing results of the team and its impact on AACS Consulting performance
b. Timely contributions of knowledge, expertise, and information to external relations and AACS Consulting initiatives, leading to quality and high-impact outcome, support, and input to corporate and organizational processes.
