Assistant Manager / Manager, Marketing & PR
Mumbai
- We are looking for a Assistant Manager / Manager, Marketing & PR to join us in Mumbai, to be responsible for the Marcom and PR activities of our locations across India and Canada.
- Working as part of the Marketing & Communications team in India, you will be responsible for developing and implementing promotional strategies and initiatives to help realize business goals.
- This role requires someone who is self-motivated, proactive and capable of delivering strategies that will take the business forward. Experience of working as part of a global team would be useful. Building and maintaining strong stakeholder relationships is a vital skill.
Key Areas of Responsibility
- Stakeholder Collaboration
Working closely with senior stakeholders and key business teams across our operations in India, you'll help drive process improvements in shared workflows with internal teams, enhancing the flow of communication internally and rolling out initiatives to support the transformation of the business.
- PR
You'll drive local initiatives to continually showcase the company as a leader in the visual effects and animation industries, working with our local PR agency to create and manage press opportunities for senior spokespeople on important and sensitive matters.
- Internal Marketing
You will ensure that the objectives, mission and values of the company are clearly and effectively shared with our talented teams across our operations in India, creating and sharing stories that communicate the vision and successes of our people and our teams.
- Events
You will help manage a calendar of industry events, organize speakers and create content to promote our work in India, including presentations and videos.
- Profiling and Promotion
- You'll be tasked and trusted to build relationships with stakeholders across the business in order to create stories that can be used to promote the work of the company's teams in India. You'll know the best channels to use to effectively promote these stories.
-You'll also be expected to develop strong affiliations with industry organizations in India, in order to create opportunities for our team members to engage with the industry and to share the company's work and culture.
Key Attributes
- At least 5-7 years of experience in a similar role, ideally within the film or creative/entertainment industry
- A degree in a relevant field e.g., Journalism, Marketing, Communications
- Experience owning and delivering projects from start to finish, coordinating both internal and external stakeholders
- Excellent communication skills - written and verbal
- Experience building strong relationships with key members of internal teams
- Ability to work in a pressurized environment, responding calmly and effectively
- Thorough knowledge of social media platforms and effectively utilizing content
- Experience of managing company websites and using industry standard CMS
- Proven experience building relationships with clients and other third-party stakeholders
- Highly self-motivated and comfortable operating in a stand-alone role while continuing to work effectively on your own initiative
- Experience briefing and creating promotional content - both written and filmed
- Good general IT skills and knowledge of Mac / Windows software
