About the Founders :
Rohit Anand : Rohit Anand is a serial entrepreneur and an alumnus of INSEAD, France. He was behind Value Edge, a healthcare analytics startup that counted among its clients, big pharma companies such as Amgen and Roche. Value Edge was acquired by WNS Holdings, an NYSE Listed company. In a few years since its founding Value Edge had become India's largest outsourcing provider to the life sciences industry with an outstanding team of 150+ with offices in Boston, Frankfurt, and Zurich and marquee clients in Europe and the US.
Rohit brings hands-on experience in building teams and culture around fairness, transparency, and huge levels of involvement. He has built teams that have delighted clients across the globe and built repeat business based on client delight.
Tarun Jyot Singh : A brand marketer by profession, Tarun has learnt marketing from Mecca of brand building - Unilever with almost 10 years of experience in brand building, followed by stints in private equity and early-stage startups. Tarun has been part of the core team that built a large consumer business across digital channels. He brings the experience of marketing strategy, deep domain expertise, and understanding of consumer brands and combines these with experience in online strategy, tactical planning, and execution. He is a seasoned practitioner on Amazon and an expert at driving growth through Marketplaces and in particular knows the ins and outs of running large and complex campaigns on Amazon. He leads operations and product at 1Digitalstack working closely with clients to delight them with outcomes that exceed expectations.
About the Role :
- As at 1DigitalStack, we grow our Ecommerce marketplace advertising software business, we are looking for a thoughtful and proactive Customer Success Lead.
- You effectively build trusted client relationships to become their trusted advisor on all their Ecommerce marketplace (like Amazon, Flipkart, Shopee, etc.) advertising needs. You ensure the client is deriving value from 1DigitalStack, and provide guidance and insights with best practices to ensure long-term customer success.
- You are particularly proficient at Ecommerce advertising like Amazon, Shopee, Flipkart, etc. and are well-versed at developing advertising strategies and building campaigns in service of a retail goal. You become an expert on the 1DigitalStack software portfolio and how it helps clients achieve their objectives on Ecommerce marketplaces.
- You collaborate closely with sales to support and onboard new clients. You identify expansion opportunities to grow the lifetime contract value of strategic clients. You create customized educational materials to support your clients- learning.
Roles and Responsibilities :
- Taking complete ownership for a portfolio of accounts - Standard and High Value advertisers.
- Reviewing every account in the portfolio in complete detail to understand the current level of performance.
- Engaging with advertisers/in-country Account Manager to understand their advertising goals and expectations from the program.
- Leading kick-off calls with advertisers and driving discussion using a pre-set agenda, as and when necessary.
- Flawlessly executing end-to-end ad optimization and marketing campaigns.
- Analysing account performance against key metrics to identify, recommend and implement optimization solutions to increase efficiency and meet clients- KPIs.
- Analysing data trends and creating keywords lists, bids and budget suggestions; gathering and analysing data at account/campaign/industry level.
- Monitoring and communicating campaign progress through regular, in-depth activity reports and insights, and then using this knowledge as a basis for future campaigns.
- Working with Account Management, Sales & Marketing and Product teams to identify and solve issues blocking advertiser performance.
- Identifying opportunities to improve our advertising product based on customer feedback, data analysis, and feature gaps with competitive products.
Skills/competencies :
The ideal candidate would describe themselves as an eCommerce nerd, staying up to date on retail news and digital marketing innovations. You read books, subscribe to newsletters, and listen to podcasts. You have a strong point of view on what it takes to win in the eCommerce landscape.
You have :
MBA in Marketing/Operations with 2+ years of experience in digital advertising/marketing and 2-4 years relevant work experience in a client-facing role, preferably in one of the following scenarios:
1. eCommerce channel management at a manufacturer or retailer, Amazon.com strongly preferred
2. Digital performance marketer supporting an eCommerce sales team, Amazon.com strongly preferred
3. Account management or Account Strategist role in a digital marketing or performance marketing agency, supporting brands selling via Amazon Vendor Central
- Exceptional verbal and written communicator to deliver actionable advice and presentations to clients
- Exceptional listening and analytical skills to diagnose complex problems and derive actionable solutions
- Desire to work in a fast-paced, challenging environment.
- Demonstrated high attention to detail and proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously.
- Must be willing to work in shifts to cater to global markets.
- Must have managed global clients along with owning individual performance goals.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications - Excel, Word and PowerPoint
- Personable, warm, and trustworthy
