Position Overview:
We are seeking a proactive and motivated Sales & Marketing Intern to assist our sales and marketing teams in promoting our carbon footprinting software. This is an exciting opportunity for someone passionate about sustainability, technology, and growing their career in sales and marketing. The intern will gain hands-on experience in developing marketing strategies, assisting with lead generation, and supporting sales activities.
Key Responsibilities:
Market Research & Analysis:
Conduct market research to identify industry trends, customer pain points, and competitor strategies in the sustainability and software sectors.
Content Creation & Social Media:
Assist in creating engaging content for various marketing channels (social media, blogs, newsletters, etc.). Help manage and update social media platforms to drive brand awareness and customer engagement.
Sales Support:
Assist the sales team in identifying potential leads, managing CRM tools, and preparing sales presentations. Help track and report on sales progress and KPIs.
Customer Engagement:
Support the team in building relationships with existing customers and prospects through email campaigns, product demos, and follow-up communication.
Campaign Execution:
Help execute and track digital marketing campaigns, including email marketing, webinars, online ads, and other promotional activities.
Event Coordination:
Assist in organizing webinars, online demos, and other promotional events to showcase the product and drive customer interest.
Administrative Tasks:
Provide administrative support to the sales and marketing teams, including scheduling meetings, preparing reports, and tracking performance metrics.
Qualifications:
Education: Currently pursuing or recently graduated with a degree in Marketing, Business, Environmental Science, or a related field.
Passion for Sustainability: Interest in environmental issues, carbon footprinting, and sustainability efforts.
Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage with diverse audiences.
Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with digital marketing tools (e.g., social media platforms, Google Analytics, email marketing software) is a plus.
Adaptability & Teamwork: Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and collaborate within a diverse team.
Organizational Skills: Strong attention to detail with excellent time management skills.
